Different Theories, Brought Together with Experience
Therapy works best when it's built around you, the client. That's how I practice.
An Integrative Therapy Approach
I call myself an Integrative Therapist. That means I bring together well-researched approaches — talk therapy, CBT, Brainspotting, parts work, body regulation, Gottman Method — and choose what fits you. Your story, how you live and grow, and your faith.
Proven methods, but only those that help you.
Our therapy relationship is the foundation, but the methods still matter. For anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and relationships, I draw from approaches with real research behind them.
I'll always be honest with you about what's well-proven and what's still emerging.
Some of the tools we might use together: Relational therapy, Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems ("parts work"), Attachment and Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, body regulation and awareness, Gottman Method for couples, and Emotionally-Focused Individual Therapy.
These integrate well with Faith-filled support.
Let’s work together at building a therapy plan that actually helps.
The therapy relationship comes first.
Decades of research point to one consistent finding: the strongest predictor of whether therapy helps is the quality of the relationship between you and your therapist. A 2018 analysis of 295 studies and more than 30,000 clients found this held true across every type of therapy studied.
That's why our first work together is building trust. You bring your fears, your traumas, your hopes, and your faith. I bring a non-judgmental space where all of it belongs.
